Hello everyone, bonjour à tous!
It's Halloween day, so today the two classes (the Preteens, and the Youngsters) merged and we all learned Halloween vocabulary. I previously prepared flash cards of Halloween vocabulary(27 cards), I showed the English word to the children, they had to guess the French words, for the most part they did pretty well . To make the study a bit more challenging, for each word guessed the pupil got a Halloween sticker, they enjoyed the flash cards exercise.
We had a small break, and the entire EFMB group savored Halloween treats made of tasty cupcakes, apple cider juice, and H2O, thank you Valérie.
Back in class we continued on the Halloween theme, and we all played "the hangman" using French words, again stickers were given to whom guessed correctly the word.
Homework for Wednesday, November 7, 2012: review the Halloween vocabulary, read Fiche 13 of Fiches de Lecture, do exercise Vrai ou Faux also, if time permitted, review the verbs ETRE/AVOIR, in the binder.
À la semaine prochaine, see you next week.
Kalisa, Chéryfa
