Next week we
will have our Christmas party with beverages, and other goodies, dear
parents, if you can, come to the school at 4:45pm
The class started with the correction of the last week homework, and I was delighted to see that the children did very well, keep the good work kids !
After that little session, we worked on three new sounds "GR, GN, and CH", we did exercises to illustrate those sounds.
The group also reviewed the verbes ETRE et AVOIR/ TO BE and TO HAVE, two verbs the children should know to utilize fluidly in sentences (oral and written).
Kalisa had the kindness to bring us some chocolate cake, so we (both groups) gathered around the video of "Le renne au nez rouge" and we practice the song as well as we ate the delicious goûter/snack.
Homework for Wednesday, December 19, 2012: do the exercises that correspond to each sound GR, GN, CH, copies in the student's binder, also practice the verbes ETRE et AVOIR for a little quiz next week, and learned the refrain of the song "Le renne au nez rouge" (in the binder), the link to the song is below.
