Today we studied the concept of Masculin/Féminin which doesn't exist in English. We learned the two determinants that correspond to the "masculin" or the "féminin" UN/UNE.
To illustrate the lesson, we did several exercises (all in the binder), to make the féminin of certain words, we add an "e" at the end of the word : un ami, une amie, same for the adjectives, je suis un grand garçon, je suis une grande fille.
We also completed another fun exercise " Repérer un mot correspondant à une image"/Locate a word corresponding to an image.
Homework for Wednesday, February 27: find and write 10 words MASCULIN with UN...and 10 words FEMININ with UNE...(Parents, thank you for your help),
Review the days of the week, the months, numbers from 1 to 100, ETRE et AVOIR.
A la semaine prochaine!
