THE FRENCH CLASS: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 2013.
Bonjour !
The children had a laborious class today, first we corrected the homework, and the students did an excellent job, I'm so pleased. We once more studied the plural: the plural with an "S", and the plural with an "X" at the end of words that finish with "EU, AU, EAU" (un jeu > des jeux, un noyau > des noyaux, un cadeau > des cadeaux), and we also studied that words finishing with "AL" the plural becomes "AUX" ( un journal > des journaux) with few exceptions to the rule : les bals, les festivals, les récitals, les chacals, les carnavals, and les régals. I know it's a lot to remember, it doesn't have to be all at once, we'll come back to it during the remaining classes.
To relax a bit, after our short recess, we all played (the Youngsters, and the Preteens) a game "Tic Tac Boom", it was a lot of fun.
Homework for Wednesday, March 20: Do "Ecris au pluriel avec s ou x"/ write the plural with s or x, exercise in the binder.
Great work kids!
That's all folks, see you next week!
